What is my Birth Card?
Your Birth Card is the playing card assigned to your birth month and day. It stays the same your whole life and is the starting point for every reading in the Destiny Cards system - your personality, your relationships, and your yearly cycles are all read through it.
How is a Birth Card calculated?
By an astrological formula, set to the regular deck of playing cards, that comes down from the Book of Destiny - a system kept secret for thousands of years and first made public in 1894. The method itself stays within the tradition, but finding your card takes seconds: enter your birth date in the free widget above and it appears. One hint at the mystery: December 31 belongs to the Joker, the single birthday the deck declines to explain.
Is this astrology?
It's a distinct system with a bridge to astrology. Your Birth Card comes purely from the calendar, but your Planetary Ruling Card is found through your zodiac sign's ruling planet, and the yearly spread's periods follow the planets from Mercury to Neptune. If you know your sun sign, the cards will feel familiar fast.
What are Karma Cards?
Most Birth Cards have two Karma Cards - one representing a debt you're here to work on, the other a gift that comes easily. Seven cards, called the Family of Seven, have none and carry a different kind of karmic role.
